Malnutrition in Africa

Today, 218 millions of inhabitants are suffering from mal nutrition.

The principal causes of food insecurity are :

- A persistante mal nutrition ( because of the povrety and the underdeveloppement.)

- The riots of hunger

- A lots of famine because of the wars and bad governement.

Malnutrition has always been a problem in Africa. They only have a dollar per person per day to live. Overhere, the mothers don’t eat enough during their pregnency so their children born with some importants diseases, then, the mothers can’t feed their children. Good nutrition is really important for the child survival, their health and their development. Well-nourished children are able to learn and to grow up, to resist the diseaseans other health problem. Mal nutrition is the cause of more than 1/3 of all child deaths in africa.

For the millions of children suffering from malnutrition, the reality is terrible. Every year, about 3 million children die because of undernutrition. For millions more, grow up as a normal child is really hard. Mental diseases and body bad training.

Most major food and nutrition crises do not occur because of a lack of food, but rather because people are too poor to obtain enough food. In 30 years, the number of natural disasters droughts, cyclones, floods, linked to climate change has increased substantially. The effects of climate change are often dramatic, devastating cultivable areas which are already vulnerable. Infrastructure is damaged or destroyed; diseases spread quickly; people can no longer grow crops or raise livestock.

According to UN studies in over 40 developing countries, the decline in agricultural production caused either directly or indirectly by climate change could dramatically increase the number of people suffering from mal nutrition and hunger in the coming years.Lack of potable water, poor sanitation, and dangerous hygiene practices increase vulnerability to infectious and disease

their are solutions to change this. UNICEF, a big GNE gives food, medicine and contraception things to the african to try to help them,it can yield dramatic results for children, their families, and communities.
